OUR BELIEFS

We are non-denominational Christians who believe in Jesus Christ as Mankind’s Savior and, as Christians, we aim to follow the principles of Christianity in service to our Fellowman. Jesus was the Perfect Servant. As we serve in a humanitarian capacity around the world, our hope is to serve others as He served.

We believe all people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, no matter what station in life they are born into.

We believe in helping all people, regardless of race, religion, or economic status.

We believe in transparency — with our donors, those who serve with us, and those who receive help from us.

We believe in sharing what we do. By including our contributors and sponsors in what we are doing with their contributions, we believe it strengthens our partnership with them and makes them a part of what we’re doing around the world.

We believe in longterm global relationships. We’re in this for the long haul, and this means having people on the ground in the countries we visit to help us set up and maintain programs that we believe in, like education, parenting, and hygiene classes. Fostering and keeping these types of relationships is very important to our organization.

We believe in making a difference. With every trip we plan, whether it’s to Vietnam to help with a Street Children’s Home or to Ukraine to give aid to civilians who've had to flee their homes because of military conflict, our aim is to make a difference for the better in the lives we encounter.

We believe it is a privilege to serve others. And because of that, our teams take great care to do everything they can to ensure the integrity of a mission even after it is over. Our teams are trained well before travelling regarding culture and what is expected during each trip. Team members are very carefully selected and vetted to insure the right individuals are chosen for each specific trip, because every single one is different, made up of very different needs from very different individuals that need to be met in every country we visit.

We believe in forming global relationships out of the trips we take and the service we give. As an organization, Living Water Global Initiative is committed to making and nurturing relationships wherever we go. The individuals who serve with us are encouraged, as well, to make friends they can communicate with long after they have returned home.
