Jeffrey Smith was born in Concord, NC.  He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1990.

 

While working to complete his bachelor’s degree in Economics, he worked as an owner/ partner of a Masonry company in the capacity of Treasurer and Bookkeeper.  After he graduated from UNCC, he sold his share of his masonry business to the other business partner and began working for Best Distributing Company.  In 2003 he received the Phoenix award and in 2005 received Branch of the Year award from Best Distributing Company for the Charlotte Branch, which he managed at the time.  Jeff now serves as Regional Manager at Best Distributing Company and is over 10 branches in the Carolinas and has enjoyed more than 20 years employment there. He has also completed course work at Texas A & M University in Industrial Distribution in 2005 and Influential Leadership Course by Herrmann International in 2014.

 

Jeff has enjoyed a career in various disciplines of the Building Industry for over thirty years, where he used his interest in financial and functional management to benefit his employers, business partners and customers.

Jeff is married to his wife, Kimberly and they have two children.  In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities, such as Golf, Canoeing, Hunting, Fishing, and also restoring old cars.  He looks forward to using his skills in financial and functional business management to serve toward helping others through Living Water Global Initiative’s activities.
